Covering an area of approx. 95,000 m2, Heritage Park was designed to re-invigorate and increase people’s connection to nature. The essence of the design is grounded in community and connections, establishing a collective destination and experience that is an expression of Abu Dhabi.
The vision behind Heritage Park was to develop Abu Dhabi’s first set of iconic themed parks at the north end of the Corniche. Harnessing the memories of the original park, a contemporary design creates a serene urban retreat away from the bustle of the city where visitors become immersed in nature. The spatial layout and interventions throughout the park offer an experience that is intentionally designed to be restorative, social, active and memorable.
