Prioritising the existing aesthetic and materiality of the locations, interventions were designed to achieve functional and technical requirements while establishing an unobtrusive dialogue with the natural terrain.
Wide open prominent locations required seemingly invisible intervention through the integration of mirrors and ha ha walls that explored level difference. A second approach introduced installations that invite a dialogue between natural and artificial form and materiality. For locations closer to agriculture land and outside the valley, a landscape-focused approach considered the use of stone or planting or a combination of both.
