This local school in the heart of residential Dubai, sought a landscape design solution that accommodated the multitude of needs of its young student body.
Located in a large residential area, outside peak summer periods, cycling is a preferred mode of transport for students and accessibility in and out of the grounds was a key consideration. In addition to a bus drop-off zone and carparking, four primary external zones were included in the masterplan; plaza area to the main school entry, a covered linear courtyard connecting the outdoor play area and lunch zone, to the sports field.
